Welcome to the most important gallery on our site – REAL clients! The beautiful pin-ups you see below are not models, none of them had been to a professional photographer before visiting Portand Pin-Ups.

Sometimes our clients come to us wanting a present for a loved one, sometimes it’s because they have lost a lot of weight, or hit a birthday milestone, or because they are newly single. Sometimes it’s just for fun.
Always, they leave with artworks they cherish.

Portland Pin-Ups is the west coast’s most unique portrait studio, specializing in creating amazing artworks for our clients. We will pamper you and make you feel like a million dollars, and when you leave the studio on creative day, you will be buzzing and ready to hit the town!

Our pin-up sessions involve 3 stages – first the “Discovery” – this is our first meeting where you visit the studio for a coffee and a chat, we get to know each other and discover what type of pin-up you would like to be. At this meeting we plan your creative day and get you all booked in.

Next up, you arrive for your “Creative Day” – this is the photography session where our team will transform you into a pin-up queen. First you go into hair styling and make-up artistry, then it’s time to hit the set as you are gently guided into classic pin-up poses.

Finally you return a week later for your “Portrait Review” – where you select your poses for final artworks.

No matter how many looks you decide to invest in, your time on set will be fun, silly and a little exhausting! Over a 20 year career, Mike has perfected the art of posing a lady and will bring out the best in you, giving you valuable tips on posture and how to always look your best when having your picture taken. Our awesome stylist will be on hand the entire session to help with outfits, fix bra straps and to keep an eye on your make-up to ensure you are always looking stunning. By the time you leave the studio on session day, you will be looking, and more importantly, feeling…fabulous!

Our signature style is often imitated but never bettered – indeed, Mike’s editing skills are much sought after by rival photographers and he often presents at workshops and photographic industry seminars.
